1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of all digital systems, platforms, applications, websites, APIs, and integrations operated by In Delay There Lies No Plenty Pty Ltd ACN 162 881 138 ATF Future Thinking Family Trust t/a Djenie ABN 98 399 797 036 (“Djenie”).
This AUP applies to:
- users of djenie.com
- users of the membership-management system (SMS v2)
- administrators and representatives of customer organisations
- internal staff, contractors, and consultants
This Policy forms part of Djenie’s Terms of Use and must be read with the Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
2. GENERAL USER OBLIGATIONS
Users must:
- use Djenie systems lawfully
- maintain the confidentiality and security of credentials
- provide accurate information
- comply with organisational rules and obligations
- follow all instructions from customer administrators (where applicable)
3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Attempting to breach or test system security without permission
- Introducing malware, ransomware, or harmful code
- Accessing data without authorisation
- Using Djenie services for illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or fraudulent activity
- Uploading content that violates privacy, confidentiality, IP rights, or applicable law
- Misusing automation tools, bots, or scripts to bypass rate limits
- Attempting to modify, reverse engineer, or disrupt platform functionality
- Using Djenie systems to harm minors or vulnerable persons
Prohibited AI Use:
Djenie prohibits use of AI for: - employment or eligibility decisions
- biometric analysis
- political persuasion
- behavioural tracking
- any action that creates legal or significant effects on individuals
4. USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Users are responsible for all content uploaded or submitted.
Content must not:
- infringe copyright or intellectual property
- reveal confidential information without authority
- include harmful, discriminatory, or harassing material
- contain personal data of others without lawful basis
5. ORGANISATIONAL / ENTERPRISE USE
Administrators representing customer organisations are responsible for:
- configuring role-based access correctly
- managing internal user permissions
- ensuring compliance with legal and organisational obligations
- training users on correct system usage
6. SYSTEM INTEGRITY AND RATE LIMITS
Users must not:
- overload, disrupt, or interfere with Djenie systems
- bypass technical controls
- deploy automated tools without express permission
- engage in scraping, excessive polling, or unauthorised automation
7. SECURITY & MISCONDUCT REPORTING
Security or policy violations must be reported to:
security@djenie.com
privacy@djenie.com
8. ENFORCEMENT
Djenie may take necessary actions to protect systems and users, including:
- suspending or restricting accounts
- removing or disabling content
- terminating access
- notifying customer organisations or regulators
- providing evidence to law enforcement where required
9. USER RESPONSIBILITY FOR LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Users must comply with:
- applicable laws in their jurisdiction
- applicable laws relevant to their organisation
- Djenie’s Terms of Use and all binding policies
10. GOVERNING LAW
Governed by:
- Queensland law for Australian customers
- Customer agreement terms for international clients
11. UPDATES
Updates will be published with new version details.
Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
